Hyperion Functional Consultant
Job Description:
CedarCrestone is seeking bright and motivated Hyperion Functional Consultants.
Accepted candidates will have the skills to provide exceptional consulting services to clients, helping
them gain the optimum benefit from their Oracle Applications investment. This position requires the ability
to travel with projects executed on-site at CedarCrestone client locations nationwide with a typical week
of four 10-hour days.
General Duties/Tasks:
- Design, build, test, and train clients on multi dimensional planning, design, build, load and reporting
- Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the Implementation Project Manager and Engagement Manager
- Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients
- Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize CedarCrestone's implementation methodology
- Assists team with all aspects of implementation and upgrade
- 4+ years strong experience with Hyperion tool set
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational with exceptional written and verbal communication skills is required
Required Oracle E-Business Hyperion Consultant Skills:
- Experience implementing Hyperion Planning and Budget
- Experience with Business Rules, Calc Scripting, Form Building, and all other functional aspects of the planning tools, including financial reporting
- Experience with integration of Hyperion with ERP solution; Oracle EBS experience preferred
- Proven experience with at least 3-5 full life cycle implementations/upgrades
- Proven track record to deliver business solutions to customer
Consulting Skills:
- Communicates clearly and effectively with clients, CedarCrestone Accounts Executives, and CedarCrestone Management
- Consistently produces clear, concise status reports
- Builds confidence and trust with customers
- Displays effective analytical and problem solving skills

them gain the optimum benefit from their Oracle Applications investment. This position requires the ability
to travel with projects executed on-site at CedarCrestone client locations nationwide with a typical week
of four 10-hour days.
General Duties/Tasks:
- Design, build, test, and train clients on multi dimensional planning, design, build, load and reporting
- Assist with software installation and configuration
- Set-up user security per customer requirements
- Utilized load rules, calc scripts, essbase optimization to facilitate implementation
- Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to the Implementation Project Manager and Engagement Manager
- Seeks innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients
- Shares suggestions and knowledge capital to help optimize CedarCrestone's implementation methodology
- Assists team with all aspects of implementation and upgrade
- 4+ years strong experience with Hyperion tool set
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational with exceptional written and verbal communication skills is required
Required Oracle E-Business Hyperion Consultant Skills:
- Minimum of 4–5 years current, hands on Hyperion Enterprise Tools
- Experience installing and configuring Hyperion Planning and Budget
- Ability to configure security based on customer requirements
- Experience with integration of Hyperion with ERP solution; Oracle EBS experience preferred
- Experience with ETL tools including ODI and adaptors
- Ability to create clone, back-up and other procedures as needed
- Proven experience with at least 3–5 full life cycle implementations/upgrades
- Proven track record to deliver business solutions to customer
